I guess no surprise. There is not much left, and that is going fast. People with 4X4 are starting to drive as far as the fire station. (The road is still posted closed to wheeled vehicles). Beyond that is iffy in a lot of spots.
So, lots of black pavement. No snow, even on the shoulders. Then, in spots, deep enough right now to stick a wheeled vehicle. Snowmobiles, no way. Skiis, not much hope there, more like hiking from snow to snow for brief ski’s.
A week from now, we should have a much better picture of just what the conditions will be going forward.
And then there is just the possibility that winter might yet return……..
