The Plumas National Forest has issued a Forest Order, closing all the Bucks Lake groomed trails to ALL wheeled vehicles, including ATV’s, effective December 15. In their order, they mentioned there is a $5000 fine associated with violations.
It seems every winter we run across someone who has decided to do it for fun, or got confused and thinks he can drive the back road, “because my GPS said I could.” I hope that doesn’t happen this year.
